Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy Suresh (born 17 October 1992) is an Indian actress who appears predominantly in Tamil as well as Telugu films, in addition to several Malayalam films. She received the National Film Award in Best Actress category for her work in the film as actress Savitri. The other awards she received comprise the three SIIMA Awards, a Filmfare Award South as well as three SIIMA Awards. Keerthy Kumar Suresh happens to be the actor Menaka G. Suresh's daughter. Her early career was as a children's actress. Then, following a course in the field of Fashion Design, she re-entered acting. In 2013, she played the lead in Geethaanjali, a Malayalam-language film. She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). Keerthy made her debut on Tamil projects in the year 2015, and started accepting projects from Malayalam. Her first film, A. L. Vijay's love story Idhu Enna Maayam, in 2015 alongside Vikram Prbhu. The film was not a success at the box-office. A busy schedule during 2015 meant that she had decide to pull out of projects that she was working on, including Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye as well as Deekay's Kavalai Vendam in order to make room for larger projects. The result was that she was involved in two projects together with Sivakarthikeyan within a short time, Rajini Murugan and Remo as well as playing the lead role for Prabhu Solomon's Thodari along with Dhanush.Her Telugu debut was planned to release in Ainaa Ishtam Nuvvu. The film's release was pushed back in the year 2015, and will now occur after September in 2020. The film will be released under a different title Janakitho Nauu. The first film to debut was Nenu Sailaja in 2016 with actress Ram Pothineni. Keerthy was in Bairavaa written by Bharathan and with actor Vijay.
